Commissioned by Nike, we enthusiastically embraced the task of designing a bespoke typeface for the much-anticipated Nike x LeBron partnership. Our goal was to intricately infuse the iconic Nike logo’s essence into the typography, resulting in a harmonious visual narrative. Through an innovative fusion, where the swoosh seamlessly integrates with the ’y’ character, we not only established a definitive feature for the ’Play’ lettering but also crafted a typography that remains rooted in Nike’s design ethos while exuding its unique personality.
